More Leiden and around

After walking in Leiden and visiting the wonderful Natural History museum of Leiden University, we headed for nearby lakes, where, as rumor had it, were a lot of wild birds. We did see some birds, mostly herons and ducks, but I couldn't take very good pictures of them. But I did take some of the lakes, which looked awesome! Here are the pics, judge for yourselves.

The evening light was nice and golden, so we had a little photosession right there by the lake - the kind when everyone makes silly faces, and I take pictures. :)
